    I find this very strange as I thought about this very thing while I was readying my self for work this morning. Maybe we haven't been contacted (like V) since we aren't interesting enough to an alien race yet. I imagine a conversation with a higher being such as aliens would sound something like Shaun Connory as Indys's dad in the Last Crusade. "We haven't talked to yet because you weren't that interesting yet". At least that's how it sounded to me.
